The Origin of J.D. Schulman & Associates
Our founder, Jamie L. Shine, launched J.D. Schulman & Associates LLC out of a deeply personal experience. Over ten years ago, Jamie faced a challenging financial landscape and came close to filing for bankruptcy. Despite her case being simple, she quickly discovered that attorney fees were far out of reach.
Facing the court system alone was intimidating, and her biggest anxiety was ensuring her paperwork was filled out correctly. That experience exposed a massive gap in the justice system: many people needing financial relief cannot afford representation, and they struggle with the complex, precise paperwork required by the courts.
Determined to prevent others from experiencing that same anxiety, Jamie committed herself to creating an affordable, compassionate, and reliable alternative to assist self-represented individuals with administrative court filings.

Jamie L. Shine holds a **Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management**, providing J.D. Schulman & Associates LLC with the academic foundation, operational efficiency, and leadership required to run a client-centered service business.
To maintain absolute professionalism, Jamie is currently completing her specialized **Bankruptcy Petition Preparer (BPP) certification training**. This certification equips her with the strict technical knowledge and regulatory frameworks required to serve clients accurately and lawfully.
